triple j Unearthed is all about fresh Australian music. Here at
triple j we’ve been discovering new Australian music for over 30 years and
Unearthing acts for more than a decade. So far, we’ve unearthed over
100 artists from all over Australia and launched the careers of artists like Missy
Higgins, Killing Heidi, Grinspoon and Endorphin.
Unearthed today is taking it one step further, one blow stronger,
one shout louder. You can now listen to ALL the music right here on the website,
and also contribute your own stuff anytime.
LISTEN
If you want to hear some fresh sounds, the Unearthed website is
packed with them. Simply browse through the site, find music you like and start
listening! You can listen using the Unearthed Jukebox or download the tracks (mp3s)
straight to your own computer.
Even better, if you register with Unearthed you will be able to
write reviews, rate tracks and create your very own playlist that you can email
to your friends. A healthy music scene relies on an active community base of supporters,
so register now and get active!
MAKE MUSIC
We’ve built the venue and invited the audience, but we’re relying on
you to get out there and strut your stuff.
All you have to do is sign up as an artist, upload your music to the site and voila!
You’ll get your very own artist page where people can find out about you,
listen to your music and tell you what they think. The only requirement is that
you don't already have a recording contract with a record company.
Once your music is on Unearthed it’s automatically in the
running for all the current competitions.
