Kiinderpanzer began experimenting with downtempo sounds, samples and drum machines with Iain Mott and Mark Arnold in The Shadow Factory. Following extensive travel through Europe, Kiinderpanzer set out to create an original, sparse sound featuring multiple effects and lots of aural space. The current lineup is influenced by UNKLE, Massive Attack, DJ Shadow, Kruder & Dorfmeister and the Cure albums Faith and 17 Seconds.
