AIMEE FRANCIS NEEDS A BASSIST!
I have recently returned from Los Angeles where I recorded my soon to be released debut album, Somethin' Like That, and it's now time to tear up the Melbourne/Australian rock circuit again.
Wanting possible candidates to love my sound, have a great presence both onstage and in the music mix, have good gear and in the end be able to have a fantastic time whilst working hard.
Backing vocals are definately encouraged, but not needed.
Currently practicing at the Jam Tin studios in Cheltenham, but willing to change location to make it more central to the whole band once the bassist position has been filled.

SA - Guitarist needed
Rue Phonetic are looking for a creative and refined guitarist to join our 4 piece.
Best described as keys-based mood-pop rock (or something like that), our biggest influences are Muse, Little Birdy, the Hampdens, Coldplay, and others. As such, we're looking for a creative dynamic guitarist who's less focussed on thrashy distortion and more focussed on thick reverbs and crisp delays (think Johnny Buckland crossed with Johnny Greenwood and a little Matt Bellamy to taste).
We've been jamming for over a year and have a bunch of material (still writing new stuff constantly) and are looking to gig seriously in late Nov-Dec. Between us we have a lot of experience and are only looking for someone with quality gear and a willingness to give it a good crack. We're reasonably serious about getting this project out of the rehearsal room and onto the stage, but we're still all pretty easy goin people.
I must also mention that although our songs to date have all been based on keys, we are VERY keen to get some new stuff going thats more guitar-based, with keys taking more of a backing role.
