Ange Panousakis lives in music. For years, melodies and lyrics would flood in and out of her mind, lacking only chords to support them. Ange has spent many years writing and collaborating, but without any instrument but her voice and just recently a guitar, she shied away from sharing her love for storytelling through music with the world.
Surrounded by musicians all of her life, Ange was inspired by many members of her family. It was on a clear night, while she listened to a song her father wrote followed by Jeff Buckley’s Mojo Pin that something switched inside of her. From then on she knew it was time to stand up and to tell her own story.
With a mixture of acoustic folk, storytelling and poetry, Ange spins tales of joy, discovery, lost love, lust, struggle and magical moments. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes uplifting and nostalgic, she delivers her songs in a way she only knows how- raw, honest, soulful and sometimes cheeky. With the help of some very gifted musicians, she will take you on a journey through framed moments in time, insane adventures and the complexities of human relationships.
