We're hurtling towards the final leg of our AWOL journey and where better to stop than Burnie. Officially Tasmania’s fourth largest city, this small port town sits on Tasmania’s north coast and is nestled between some lush green hills and the shores of Emu Bay. Our reporters will be bringing you all the stories from the region and it'll all culminate in a huge concert on Saturday 13th October. To stir it all up we'll be bringing Horsell Common, Cut Copy and crowd favourites - The Cat Empire. Talk about ending with a bang!
If you're from Tasmania this is your big chance to strut your stuff to the rest of Australia. We're looking for local talent to open the show. Just make sure you've got your tracks uploaded before midnight Sunday 23rd September. If you already have tracks uploaded you will automatically be included in this competition.
*Note - You just need to have your tracks uploaded by the closing date. They do not have to be live on the site.

This 3-piece from Launceston combine jangly rock beats with killer harmonies which will charm the pants off you. They have been gigging like crazy around Tasmania over the past year and will now get to strut their stuff on our AWOL Burnie stage. Look out for The Stoics!
